We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email, role and institution when you request a demo or create an account — and information your institution configures within the Service, such as student records, attendance, academic and fee data.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, including device, browser and usage data, to keep the Service secure and reliable.

We use information to operate, maintain and improve the Service; to provide support; to communicate with you about your account or enquiry; and to meet our legal and security obligations. We do not sell personal data.

Schools use Clazro to manage records that may relate to children. We process such data only on the documented instructions of the institution, apply appropriate safeguards, and never use children’s data for advertising.

Clazro’s AI features operate on your institution’s data to provide assistance, generate reports and automate communication. Outputs are grounded in your data and may be reviewed by your staff. We do not use a school’s private data to train models for other customers.

We share data only with trusted sub-processors that help us deliver the Service (for example, cloud hosting and infrastructure), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, and where required by law.

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, isolation and auditing — to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

We retain data for as long as your institution’s account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Subject to your institution’s instructions and applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
